The Dr. Susan Block Institute has been helping people with questions about sexual issues, problems and pleasures for over 30 years. Our video and phone therapists are from all walks of life. They are not medical doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists nor are they licensed. They provide you with expertise and many years of experience on various subjects using the most effective methods of instruction and guidance via sex therapy over your private phone and video instructions via internet connection worldwide.
Under the tutelage of the Dr. Susan Block Institute, our therapists study sexuality, anatomy, relationship counseling, stress reduction, conflict resolution, roleplay, erotic hypnosis and the Bonobo Way of peace through pleasure. They give advice based on their studies with the Institute, as well as their outside learning and life experience.
Dr. Susan Block, the founder and director of the Institute, has a BA from Yale University, two PhD’s in sexuality and in philosophy with a major in psychology (read more about her academic and professional background here), and is the best-selling author of The Bonobo Way: The Evolution of Peace through Pleasure, as well as hundreds of articles, papers and is a major contributor to the Wiley-Blackwell Encyclopedia of Human Sexuality. She has been providing therapy in person and through other media for individuals, couples and groups for over 35 years. A member of AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors & Therapists) and popular lecturer there for many years, Dr. Block decided not to accept AASECT certification because it would limit her ability to help her clients.
