What Does It Cost?

Dr. Susan Block’s rates for telephone sex therapy, life coaching by phone and relationship counseling by phone are $210 per hour, and most of our other therapists are $180 per hour. Since many of our clients do not wish to speak for a full hour, for financial reasons or time constraints, we also charge by the minute. $3.50 per minute to talk with Dr. Block, and $3 per minute for one of our other therapists; the minimum session being $36.

All telephone sex therapy, counseling and coaching sessions are absolutely private, discreet and confidential. Though Dr. Susan Block is a public figure, she and all of her therapists are extremely scrupulous about maintaining the complete privacy of her clients. Here at the Dr. Susan Block Institute, we provide several different forms of therapy custom-tailored to our clients' personal needs. We recognize that most people do not wish or need to come into our LA offices for individual counseling or therapy sessions, nor are we always open for in-person appointments. Thus we offer our world-renowned, five-star-rated, 24/7 telephone sex therapy services.

Indeed, we have found that since the discussion of sexual issues, pleasures, problems, fantasies and fetishes is often such a private matter, our phone services are our most popular, and in most cases, our most effective form of sex therapy.

Moreover, while in-person sessions are available by appointment only, and in-person appointments must be made at least a week in advance (usually after a minimum of three phone consultations), our phone sex therapy service is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. In-Person Therapy

For the privacy, discretion and convenience of our clients, most of our therapy, counseling, coaching and fantasy roleplay is conducted over the telephone.

But we also provide in-person therapy and counseling to individuals, couples and groups at the Block Institute’s central location in our beautiful 17,000 square-foot facility, also housing Block Studios (producers of The Dr. Susan Block Show and Dr. Block’s DVD Encyclopedia of Sex) and Dr. Suzy’s Speakeasy, in the soul of downtown LA’s burgeoning art, fashion and financial district.

To be eligible for in-person therapy, you must first have at least three telephone therapy sessions, and you must make an appointment at least one week in advance.
